Chief Information Officer

VT Industries

Stephen Tomlinson is a highly skilled global IT executive with a proven track record of driving successful business transformation through process improvement, change management, and technology. As a motivational leader, he has extensive experience in aligning IT strategies with business goals to improve agility and meet market demands. His expertise spans across IT strategy, team management, and results-driven process optimization, with a particular focus on global business.

In his role as Chief Information Officer at VT Industries since September 2017, Stephen has led the digital transformation of the company, updating infrastructure, communications, and implementing a standard ERP system across multiple locations. He has also facilitated annual planning and strategy setting, integrating acquisitions into the VT family, and enhancing customer experiences through technology.

Previously, Stephen served as the Global Director of GSI IT and Program Management at AGCO Corp, where he was responsible for integrating legacy businesses and acquisitions into a common set of business processes. He also held leadership positions at Gates Corp and Johns Manville, where he managed global business transformation projects and implemented SAP ERP systems, respectively.

Stephen holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the University of Phoenix and an Associate of Science in Mechanical Drafting with distinction from Southeast Community College. He is also Six Sigma Black Belt trained and has completed additional courses in Leadership Excellence and Facilitative Leadership.
